Born in Renton, WA, Rogers attended Hazen High School and was a standout wrestler and All-League football performer at both defensive end and offensive line. Following high school, Rogers elected to pursue an education from WyoTech automotive school in Laramie, WY which led to his current seven-year career as a certified master technician with Mercedes Benz.

Tired of lifting weights to stay in shape, Rogers turned to jiu-jitsu as a change of pace. After training for only two weeks, he entered a local mixed martial arts tournament and won and his love for the sport was sparked. A relative unknown outside of the Northwest, Rogers impressed T.U.F. producers during Seattle’s open casting call with his athletic ability and charm and was chosen to compete in season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter, Heavyweights. The 28-year-old has been training with Ring Sports United and Mark Messer for the past four years. Rogers also recently began training with Trevor Whittman at Grudge Training Center in Denver, CO which will take his career to the next level.
